Becky Hanson began her career with SINGER over three decades ago as an educator, leading sewing machine classes and product training nationally. She later relocated to the company’s North America corporate offices in Nashville, Tennessee, to become Director of Education. Today she is Global Product Specialist for SINGER, consulting with the product development team and providing creative support to the sales and marketing departments. Becky, who is also a couture hat maker, enjoys traveling around the world to gather inspiration for the creative aspects of her role and to stay current with global trends in consumer sewing.
Beth Baumgartel has written and edited sewing technique and project books for Vogue Patterns, Butterick, Taunton, Home Sewing Association, Family CircleCrafts, and many other crafts publishers. She is also the author of Successful Serging (CPi). She lives in Madison, Connecticut.
